I thought you'd like to know how things are going around here. First, we absolutely love Frosty. He's so sweet, funny, playful, loving, and good natured. We've really enjoyed spending hours with him playing all sorts of toys and games of chase and also loving on him. He's so adaptable and doesn't mind at all getting the powder on his tail, being brushed, or me cleaning his eyes for him. He's started chirping at us - it's the cutest little noise. He seems to say the most when we first walk in to see him and sometimes at play. We also hear he and Shady talking to each other a little through the door. He's purred several times, mostly when being brushed. He's got so many toys and a huge new scratching post, not to mention a great bed and large window sill for spying on our neighbors. He seems happy in his room, but anxious to explore the rest of the house. We're looking forward to integrating him little by little. He's eating and drinking well, though hasn't pooped since our car ride home on Tuesday. I'm sure this will happen when he needs to go. Anyway, I've been thinking about you and thought you might like to know how well he's doing. He's a real joy for us already... He has toys galore, but seems to enjoy an elastic string on a toy fishing pole the most. He'll chase me all around the house with it. His favorite thing is to catch the very end in his mouth and tug up as far as he can with his head. It is VERY cute. I call it the Stevie Wonder impression because he rocks his head from side to side, like the namesake :-) He loves the patio, checking everything out around the house on a regular basis, standing in the fridge for a moment when I open it, and yes, his canned food. He's just terrific!

I think he has a climbing quirk. I found your little caterpillar toy that is on the counter in the kitchen, knocked over by the sink. Plus little footprints on the glass tabletop behind the couch. He's quite the frisky little critter. I'm thinking he's ruling the roost now.

He's already sleeping on our bed with us, and eating with Garfield and Sasha at his bowl in the kitchen every morning. He eats his Fancy Feast, and then nudges Garfield over to eat his food... of course, Garfield nudges Sasha over to eat her food, and she looks at me like: "Mom! Do Something!" All 3 coons have their own corner on the screened in patio... we need another Coon for the 4th corner! Louey adjusted very quickly to our home and the other 2 CoonPals... we love him.

"Scarlett is perfection. smiles. I don't know how we ever did without her. We have decided we will only acquire Coons from now on. We got Scarlett just in time. Noelle and I have both lost our jobs, and we could never have afforded her now. She is my constant soothing in my sadness. Our property where we both worked was sold. We are trying to stay positive and looking hard for work. The economy in California is not good right now. Our former company didn't treat us very well during the sale, and will be no help with recommendations. Their policy is not to give references of any kind. So we are on our own. I am grateful for Scarlett everyday. Every time I pick her up she purrs, and every time I walk up to her when she is on her tree she kisses me. We play fetch with her all the time. She loves those little fluffy toys. We have purchased many now; they decorate the house. LOL. Every morning she wakes Noelle when it is time to get up by dropping her fluffy toy by Noelle's face, and touching her face with her paw. If it weren't for Scarlett the day we forgot to set the alarm who knows when we would have arrived at work. Flame tolerates her well now, and sometimes we even catch them playing, of course, if Flame is aware that we have seen them, he pretends it didn't happen. He's such a grumpy old man. LOL We are so in love with Scarlett, and we hope when we can afford it, you will ship us another addition to our family. Love and Hugs... Dani"

It's been 48 hours and things are improving. Bella took advantage of BB's nap time to do some exploring. She seems happy with her surroundings and when BB looms, she heads back to the safety of her fort. He tried to nip her a couple of times but the growl always sends him into a retreat. For now BB is content with stealing her toys...The kids were happy to see us. Things have progressed and they seem to be tolerating each other at closer range. BB likes Bella's food better than his own so we're working through that. Bella is quite a lover and seeks attention. We have to be carefull to give BB equal time.

Congratulations to JoAnne, Raymond & CoonPals Benjamin Blue Bear! Benjamin has stolen our hearts!! He is QUITE a character. I love all the different sounds and meows...It's hard to type since my little monster loves to run across the keyboard - needs to have all my attention all the time! Breaks my heart to leave him to go to work - he follows me to the door and gives me the "don't go" look. When I come back, he comes to greet me at the door and lets me hold and pet him for a long time. He's so adorable to play with - loves to chase me around the house and when he's tired, he gives me a little tap of the paw on the back of my leg and when I change the bed, he has to run in and out of the stack of pillows and under the covers. Hide and seek is still the favorite game. He and Emily have finally worked out the sleeping arrangements - he does not bully her off my pillow anymore, he lies on his daddy's pillow and leaves Emily on mine. He likes to stay close during the night so he can jump on us when he decides he's hungry - even if it's 3 o'clock in the morning.

He jumps on & rides the backs of the big Goldens. He sits by the pool & hangs out with China Doll & Macie, our other two dogs. He came at just the right time when I was going through some difficult times... He's doing great! Rules the household pets and the people too! Good thing he's so cute, or he'd be dead - he's so naughty. LOL
